Man yells 'dirty,s**ty nigger", stabs and runs over Nigerian asylum seeker in Italy

A man was arrested last Wednesday night, March 22, for attempted homicide, aggravated by racial motives, after savagely beating and stabbing a 25-year-old Nigerian asylum seeker in Rimini, Italy. According to an initial reconstruction, the aggressor first kicked and then stabbed the young man and, when he tried to escape, ran him over with his car.

Officer Gabriel Estrella from Texas was involved in a standoff with a cow and came off second best. He spotted the runaway bovine and tried to lock it into a paddock but had to flee when the animal charged at him. Estrella said:

 "I saw that another fence was open so that's why you see me inside the fence because I was going to run across and close the other side," he said. "But I heard something and saw a cow coming at me so I had to move out of the way. "

Gang war leaves one person dead in Mushin

New crisis broke out on Monday between touts at Alamutu and Akala streets in Mushin, Lagos, leaving one person dead and scores injured.

The fight, as gathered, was a spill-over of Sunday’s fight, following an interruption of a candle light procession by Alamutu Boys.

A resident, Kayode told Vanguard that “the two groups used to be together until Alamutu Boys pulled out. They used to form a gang to fight other people around Mushin and Somolu. But the Alamutu Boys complained that they were not being treated fairly when sharing money and other things. That was why they pulled out. But in this case, Alamutu Boys were having a candle light procession for one of their own, a conductor, who died in an auto crash on Sunday. The team had barely reached Alamutu Street when they were attacked by Akala Boys".

“Gunshots rented the air, with both sides using dangerous weapons freely. Innocent passers-by were robbed. People sustained injuries on both sides. We learned that some people died".

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the death of one person saying,

“The police responded to a distress call of a clash between two gangs. A dead body was recovered in the process.

16-year-old girl accused of killing her newborn baby avoids jail, gets community service and probation

A Nebraska 16-year-old, Antonia Lopez, who admitted to throwing her newborn out a second-floor window right after the baby was born last year, has been sentenced to probation. The teen who was supposed to be tried as an adult for killing her child and faced up to 20 years in jail, received clemency from the judge after her lawyer, claimed that the teen mum threw the newborn baby away because she thought the child was stillborn.
